Data Center Construction Water Treatment
Mobile water treatment solutions for data center construction projects in Finland and the Nordic countries.
Mobile water treatment solutions for data center construction projects
Arman provides complete construction water treatment solutions for data center projects in Finland and the Nordic countries.
We treat excavation water, groundwater, stormwater and other construction site waters using mobile treatment systems designed for demanding construction environments.
Our service can cover the entire water treatment process – from laboratory testing and process design to equipment supply, operation, monitoring and maintenance.

Water Treatment for Data Center Construction
Large data center construction projects involve extensive excavation, earthworks, foundations and infrastructure construction. These activities can generate significant volumes of water containing suspended solids, clay and other contaminants.
Fine clay particles can be particularly difficult to remove by conventional sedimentation alone.
Arman designs and supplies mobile treatment solutions according to the actual water quality, flow rate and discharge requirements of each construction site.
Treatment can be temporary, seasonal or continuous throughout the construction project.
What we treat
Our solutions can be used for:
- Excavation water
- Construction site water
- Stormwater
- Groundwater and dewatering water
- Clay-rich and highly turbid water
- Water containing fine suspended solids
- Contaminated construction water
Depending on the project and water quality, treatment can also include:
- pH adjustment
- Heavy metal removal
- PAHs and VOCs
- PFAS treatment
- Oil and hydrocarbons
- Other site-specific contaminants
From laboratory testing to full-scale treatment
Successful construction water treatment starts with understanding the water.
Arman can test construction water in our own laboratory and determine the appropriate treatment process, chemicals and operating parameters before full-scale treatment begins.
When necessary, the treatment process can also be verified through on-site pilot testing.
1
Water analysis and site requirements
We assess water quality, expected flow rates, discharge requirements and site-specific conditions.
2
Laboratory testing
Jar tests and other treatment tests are used to determine the most effective treatment method and chemical dosing.
3
Process design
We design the treatment process and select the required equipment.
4
Mobile treatment equipment
The treatment system is transported and installed at the construction site.
5
Operation and monitoring
Arman can operate, maintain and monitor the treatment process throughout the project.
Mobile Water Treatment
Arman’s mobile systems are designed for temporary and changing construction environments.
Depending on the application, the treatment process can include:
Equalization → Filtration → Coagulation → Flocculation → Sedimentation → Filtration →
Discharge
Additional treatment stages can be added when required.
The modular approach allows the treatment capacity and process to be adjusted as water quality and flow conditions change during construction.
Effective removal of clay and fine particles
Fine clay and suspended solids are among the most challenging contaminants in construction water.
Conventional settling tanks or sedimentation basins may not be sufficient when particles are extremely small or remain suspended in water.
Arman uses coagulation, flocculation and controlled solids separation to improve particle removal and produce consistently cleaner discharge water.
The treatment process is selected and optimized based on laboratory testing and actual site conditions.
Designed to meet discharge requirements
Construction water requirements vary depending on the location, receiving water body, sewer connection and environmental requirements of the project.
Arman designs the treatment process according to the applicable discharge criteria.
The objective is not simply to install treatment equipment, but to achieve the required discharge water quality reliably throughout the project.
Treatment performance can be monitored using on-site measurements, sampling and laboratory analyses as required.
PFAS and Contaminated construction water
Data center projects may also encounter contaminated soil or groundwater during excavation.
Where required, Arman can combine suspended solids removal with additional treatment technologies for contaminants such as PFAS, heavy metals, PAHs, VOCs, hydrocarbons and other harmful substances.
Removing suspended solids before advanced treatment can also significantly improve the performance and operating economy of downstream treatment stages.
Water Treatment as a Service
Arman can provide construction water treatment as a complete service instead of only supplying equipment.
The service can include:
- Water treatment planning
- Laboratory testing
- Process design
- Mobile treatment equipment
- Installation and commissioning
- Treatment chemicals
- Operation
- Maintenance
- Monitoring
- Sampling
- Reporting
This allows the construction contractor to focus on the construction project while Arman takes responsibility for the water treatment process.
Experience in demanding Water Treatment
Arman has more than 20 years of experience in water treatment, sludge treatment and solids separation.
Already proved in demanding Data Center site: >500,000 m³ of construction site water was treated using our mobile treatment equipment.
Our experience covers construction sites, industrial sites, mining environments, dredging projects and other demanding water treatment applications.
This experience enables us to solve water treatment challenges where simple sedimentation or filtration is not sufficient.
Why Arman?
Mobile and modular
Treatment equipment can be rapidly deployed and adapted to changing site conditions.
Tested before implementation
Laboratory and pilot testing reduce uncertainty before full-scale operation.
Difficult waters
We specialize in waters containing fine clay, high turbidity and suspended solids.
Complete service
We can take responsibility from process design through operation and monitoring.
Flexible capacity
Treatment solutions can be scaled according to changing water volumes and project phases.
Nordic experience
Our solutions are suitable for demanding construction and environmental conditions in Finland and the Nordic countries.
Data Center Projects in Finland and the Nordics
Arman provides construction water treatment services for data center projects throughout Finland and can support projects elsewhere in the Nordic region.
We work with construction companies, earthworks contractors, environmental consultants, engineering companies and project developers.
We can participate already during the planning and tendering phase to determine the required treatment process, equipment capacity, site footprint and expected operating costs.
Planning a Data Center Construction Project?
Contact Arman early in the project.
Water samples can be tested before construction begins, allowing the treatment process and required capacity to be planned before significant excavation and dewatering starts.
Contact us to discuss your project or send us a water sample for testing.
